SLOW COOKER SPICED PEANUTS

SERVES 6 PORTIONS

  • 3 cups peanuts
  • 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1⁄2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1⁄2 tsp powdered garlic
  • 1⁄2 tsp cayenne powder
  • 1⁄2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1⁄2 tsp salt

    METHOD

    In a slow cooker, combine the peanuts. Stir in the oil until there is a thin layer of oil on all the peanuts. It will suffice. Add the spices and stir to combine. Cook for 1 hour on low heat. Cook for 15 minutes more after removing the cover.
