STRAWBERRY BASIL MILKSHAKE
SERVES 3 GLASSES
1 cup soy, almond, or rice milk, plus extra if needed
1 pint dairy-free vanilla ice cream
2 cups frozen strawberries
2 tbsp. agave
1/2 cup fresh basil leaves (about 12 leaves)

METHOD
Blend all ingredients except the basil in a blender until smooth. If necessary, add more non-dairy milk. Blend in the basil until it is just incorporated.

GREEN PEACH SMOOTHIE
SERVES 2 GLASSES
1 cup (125 g) chopped zucchini
1 cup (45 g) baby spinach, packed
2 1/2cups (345 g) chopped frozen peaches
1 cup (235 ml) unsweetened non- dairy milk
1/2 tsp. ground ginger, or more to taste
1/4 tsp. ground turmeric, or more to taste

METHOD
In a blender, combine all the ingredients in the order listed. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth. Taste the smoothie mixture and adjust with more ginger or turmeric as desired.
Pour the smoothie into two glasses and serve.

When peaches are out of season, try frozen strawberries or apples instead.
